Membership in the United States Patent Society You may apply for annual and lifetime memberships. Membership is available only to persons who have been awarded a United States Patent which we deem meritorious of membership. Membership privileges include a membership certificate suitable for framing which certifies your status as a patentee and member of the society, free access to our legal staff for your questions, free assistance with patenting new inventions, free assistance with licensing patented inventions, up to five (5) U.S. patent searches and up to two (2) federal trademark, service mark, or business name searches. The membership fee is currently $2795.00 (USD).
